Starting in May, 2009 the city began its Caring and Sharing program. Each month of the year, the city chooses a not-for-profit charitable organization in the Northern Kentucky area to support. We are asking the citizens of Union to bring donated items to the city building in support of these organizations.

This is one way for the city and the citizens of Union to help those who are less fortunate than us!

May, 2010	Items Needed Shampoo, Soap, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Deodorant Laundry Detergent, Dishwashing Detergent Canned Food – (Soup, Vegetables (corn, green beans, peas, carrots, mixed), Fruit, Beans) Spaghetti Sauce Canned Meat – (Vienna Sausage, Tuna, Chili, Ravioli, Stew) Boxed Food – (Potatoes, Macaroni & Cheese, Stuffing, Spaghetti, Crackers) Dried Goods (Beans, Rice, Noodles) Diapers, Baby Food Toilet Paper – 4 packs

The city of Union has adopted 130 Soldiers currently stationed in Afghanistan & WE NEED YOU HELP TO FILL THEIR CARE PACKAGES! This program will be a continual program in addition to the Union Cares Program.

Most of the time we are feeding families of four or more, that take a lot of food, because we try to give out enough food to last for several days.
