The City of Union hosted its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Union Presbyterian Church.  Children ages 2-12 had a chance to gather toy and candy filled plastic eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, eat donuts, and receive balloon characters.  Twenty-four lucky kids also found Golden Ticket eggs which won them Easter filled goodie bags sponsored by Smile Doctors.

Though the morning was a bit chilly, attendees were thankful for no rain.  Joining community members and volunteers were City staff, Mayor Larry Solomon, Commissioner John Mefford, Commissioner Eric Dulaney, and Commissioner Brian Garner.  Mayor Solomon and Pastor Lisa Stenner welcomed guests.  Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny were made possible thanks to Ryle High School student volunteers.  Donut holes, juice, and hot cocoa were provided.  Kona Ice and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee trucks served additional items for purchase.
