The City Commission of Union has set the official Trick-or-Treat times for Halloween 2020 for Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Participation in the event, as always, is voluntary. Those homes wishing to participate should turn on their porch lights to indicate.
“We want our citizens to be safe, and participate in Halloween as they see prudent and acceptable,” said Mayor Larry K. Solomon. “With the Coronavirus Pandemic, we advise people to review the recommendations from the Northern Kentucky Health Department and take whatever measures they feel they need to take to be protected from the virus.“
“We also want to remind everyone to be sure to be aware if they go out to Trick-or-Treat and to be extra cautious on the city streets and roads,” Solomon added. “Drivers should take extra time and care driving during Trick-or-Treat, to ensure the safety of the children participating.”
Union, along with Boone County and the Cities of Walton and Florence, are participating at the same times for Halloween this year.
