The annual Union Breakfast with Santa has been canceled for 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The annual event, set for December 5, 2020, has been cancelled out of an abundance of caution, and concern for citizen safety.
“Due to the restrictions on public gatherings from the state, and the amount of time it takes to plan such an event, we feel this is the best decision for our community, our partners and our vendors,” said Mayor Larry K. Solomon. “It is unfortunate to have to cancel the event, but we are planning an even bigger and better event for 2021. We want to thank our long-time partners Union Fire Protection District and Union Presbyterian Church for their continued support of our event, and we look forward to working with them again in 2021.”
Breakfast with Santa has been a long-standing tradition in the city, and is one of the few free events of its type in the Northern Kentucky area.
