CITY OF UNION ANNOUNCES OPEN COMMISSION SEAT APPLICATION
The City of Union has one (1) vacant seat for Commissioner of City of Union.
In accordance with Kentucky law, the City of Union is now seeking qualified candidates to fill the vacant position for Commissioner. Pursuant to KRS 83A.040(5), the City of Union has 30 days from the date of the vacancy to appoint a new member. If no appointment is made within this period, the Governor of Kentucky will appoint a replacement.
Qualifications for Appointees:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be a qualified registered voter.
- Must be a resident of the City of Union for the entire term of the appointment.
