Union Rice Cemetery
In use since the 1860’s, Union Rice Cemetery is owned, operated, and maintained by the city. It’s located at the 1500 block of Mt. Zion Road (south side of road 650 feet west of Russwill Lane), Union, Kentucky, 41091.

1 plot- $1,000
2 plots – $2,000
3 plots – $3.000
4 plots – $4,000
5 plots – $5,000
Cremains garden plot – $500
Infant section plot – $600
- Vaults are concrete.
- Markers must be bronze, granite, or marble.
- No permanent plants, flowers, or shrubs may be planted on the grave or plot.
City must be contacted prior to setting of any footer or monument.

Grave opening and closing services:
$1,000 Monday-Friday
$1,200 Saturday
$1,300 Sunday
Cremains:
$550 Monday – Friday
$600 Saturday
$700 Sunday
Cemetery Cleaning and Maintenance
Cemetery grounds clean-up is regularly scheduled to take place ten (10) days preceding Veterans Day and Memorial Day. This is done to ensure a thorough cleaning of the property and to prepare for mowing and maintaining grounds. Notifications of these clean-up times are typically posted in advance on the website and on our social media pages. Due to the volume of decorations being removed, it is impossible to make provisions to claim items after they have been removed. Therefore, should families desire to retain items, they should be removed prior to the scheduled clean-up dates. Your cooperation is appreciated as we strive to keep our cemetery well maintained.
