ORDINANCE NO. 2026 -05

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING THE UNION CITY COMMISSION ORDINANCE TRAFFIC CALMING POLICIES FOR THE STREETS AND ROADWAYS LOCATED IN THE CITY OF UNION, KENTUCKY

            WHEREAS, the issue of repealing Ordinance 2020-01 the City of Union dated March 26, 2020; and

            WHEREAS, the City of Union as determined that it is necessary to implement a policy regarding future traffic/speed control procedures; and

            WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to update its Traffic Calming Devices; and

            WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed the speed control policies in Exhibit “A” attached hereto.

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE UNION CITY COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:

 SECTION I

            That the Union City Commission hereby REPEALS ORDINANCE 2020-01 relating to the Traffic Calming Devices in the City of Union, Kentucky.

SECTION II

           That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force when passed, published and recorded according to the law.
